The Landes Letter: October 9, 2019

Since my last email, my campaign team & I have attended numerous high school football games across the county, met with hundreds of potential supporters, and enjoyed my 2019 Octoberfest Reception.

In addition, I have announced the leadership of my proposed Clerk of Court Advisory Committee.

Clerk of Court Advisory Committee

It is an honor to have Former Augusta County Clerk of Circuit Court John Davis agree to serve as the Chairman of the Clerk of Court Advisory Committee, which I will form if I am elected as Clerk on November 5. I am proud to have his support, as well as that of Augusta County Pastures Supervisor Pam Carter, and Frontier Culture Museum Trustee Chairwoman Peggy Sheets, who have also agreed to serve on the Advisory Committee.

This committee was previously announced as part of my proposed goals for the Clerk office if elected in November. The individuals on this committee would be citizens of Augusta County, and at least two each would be selected from the Augusta County Bar Association, Greater Augusta Association of Realtors, Augusta County Historical Society, and Augusta County Genealogical Society. The purpose of the Committee would be to provide advice to the Clerk of Circuit Court on various issues pertaining to the office.

The Landes Campaign in Action

I had the opportunity to attend the Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce Pig Pickin' & Politickin' event! I enjoyed discussing my campaign for Augusta County Clerk of Court with community members.

I attended the Fort Defiance game and passed out my 2019 Augusta County football schedules. It was nice seeing Ben Cline, Chris Runion, and Jeff Slaven too!

The Shenandoah Valley Conservatives hosted their Evening with the Candidates event. I enjoyed speaking with supporters and hearing from Ronnie Campbell, Chris Runion, and John Avoli.
