I hope this email finds everyone doing well and staying safe. My focus this month is to provide updates from the Clerk's Office, including my Re-Election Bid and introducing our summer intern.

My Re-Election Bid

I was the only candidate who filed to run for Augusta County Clerk of Circuit Court. The deadline to file as a candidate for the November Election was Tuesday, June 20, by 7:00 p.m.

I am grateful and honored to have the confidence of the people of Augusta County. I look forward to continuing to campaign for re-election as Clerk of Circuit Court and to continue to discuss the new goals we hope to accomplish for the citizens in the Clerk’s Office.

Augusta County Clerk’s Office Announces Summer Intern

Emily Kegley has been named Clerk’s Intern for the Summer. Ms. Kegley is the sixteenth student to be selected for the Clerk’s Office Internship Program.

Ms. Kegley is a rising Sophomore at Christopher Newport University (CNU) pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business. She is in the CNU Honors Program and participating in the President’s Leadership Program. Ms. Kegley lives in Greenville with her family.
