WEYERS CAVE, VA – Del. R. Steven Landes, today highlighted the members of the Steve Landes for Clerk Committee campaign team. Delegate Landes announced Josh Law will serve as his Campaign Manager, Joseph “Jimmy” Ellis will serve as his Deputy Campaign Manager, and Kimberly L. Dean will serve as the Treasurer for the Steve Landes for Clerk Committee.
“I am excited with the team in place for the Augusta Clerk of Circuit Court. As always, I will run a person-to-person, grassroots campaign, and we look forward to sharing with Augusta County residents my qualifications to serve and vision for how the office of Clerk of Circuit Court can best serve Augusta County residents,” said Landes. “Josh and Jimmy bring energy and experience that will serve the campaign well. We will also work hard to ensure we have the resources necessary for success in April’s firehouse primary, as well as the general election in November. Kim Dean has served as my treasurer during my 12 terms in the House of Delegates and it’s great to have her continue in that role in this new endeavor.”
Josh Law brings over 10 years of political volunteer experience to the campaign. A 2013 graduate of Bridgewater College with a degree in Business Administration & Marketing, Josh’s work experience includes real estate, banking, and sales. He is active in his local community and serves as Chairman of the Shenandoah Valley Young Republicans, a Bridgewater College Alumni Association Director-at-Large, and Staunton’s Uncle Sam.
Joseph J. “Jimmy” Ellis IV is a junior at James Madison University where he studies Political Science. At a young age, Jimmy organized and headed up his High School’s Republican Club, where he led fellow classmates to Republican rallies and has been featured on local news to provide his generation’s perspective on politics. Jimmy has continued his path while at JMU through volunteering on various campaigns and supporting efforts to get the youth vote.
Kimberly L. Dean is a resident of Stuarts Draft and is the retired Vice President for DuPont Community Credit Union, headquartered in Waynesboro, who now owns and operates Dean Tax Service. Kim has served as the Treasurer of the Steve Landes for Delegate Committee for over 20 years.
Landes has also launched a revamped website at SteveLandes.com dedicated to his campaign for Clerk of Circuit Court. The website features contact information for his new staff, press releases, and opportunities to volunteer or request yard signs and bumper stickers.
