VERONA, VA - The National Federation of Independent Business, Virginia’s leading small-business association, has endorsed Steve Landes in the 25th House District race.
The endorsement comes from the NFIB/Virginia SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, which is comprised exclusively of NFIB members, and it is the second statewide business organization endorsement Delegate Landes has received, following the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation’s AgPAC endorsement.
“Steve Landes is clearly the best choice for small business owners, their employees and their families,” said Kristie Proctor, Member Support Manager for NFIB/Virginia.
“Steve Landes understands the challenges facing the commonwealth’s small businesses, and our members believe he will continue to take a fiscally responsible approach to managing state government and support legislation that helps our small businesses grow and create jobs.”
“I’m honored to have the support of the small businessmen and women that keep our economy rolling,” said Landes. “I’ll continue to fight on for lower taxes and fewer regulations, so that small businesses across the Commonwealth can continue to create jobs and flourish, without undue government interference.”
The NFIB/Virginia SAFE Trust’s endorsement is another significant boost to the Steve Landes House of Delegates campaign. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB has pledged it will activate its grassroots network on behalf of the campaign. NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small business issues.
