VERONA -- Delegate R. Steven Landes, R-Weyers Cave, will hold a town hall meeting on Monday, June 9, 2008, in the 25th House District. The meeting will be held from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Augusta County Government Center in the Supervisors’ Board Room, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Virginia.

     “I look forward to sharing results of the 2008 Regular Session of the General Assembly with constituents as well as discussing the upcoming Special General Assembly Session to address the Commonwealth’s transportation needs,” Landes said. “It is important for elected officials to listen and learn from citizens’ views as well as communicate new legislation passed in the Commonwealth. I hope constituents will come prepared to share funding suggestions as well as concerns related to transportation.”

     Landes represents the 25th House District, which includes the City of Waynesboro, and parts of Albemarle, Augusta and Rockingham Counties. Landes was first elected in 1995 and is presently serving his seventh term in the Virginia House of Delegates.
